Karen, canguro en Cala llombards

Hola. Soy Karen. Vivo en Cala Llombards, cerca de Santanyi.
I'm English and the mother of 4 children ages 21, 23, 26 and 28 and also have 3 step-children aged 19, 21 and 23. I love children and considered becoming a foster parent before I met my husband and added his 3 children to our family unit.
We live a simple life in Cala Llombards, gardening, reading, swimming and enjoying being in such a beautiful location. We visit our family in the UK regularly and they visit us.
I do a bit of gardening for some neighbours and enjoy it but would also love to help out families with children (and or other family members that need support).
I have a level 5 online TEFL certificate (teaching English as a foreign language). I'm easy-going, reliable and believe I am a good mother and natural carer. If you leave your child/children with me, I will keep them safe, nurture them and do my best to ensure they are happy. I love reading with children and playing games, puzzles, make-believe, craft etc. When my own children were young I used to have a box of craft materials and we spent hours making pictures and cards, playing imaginary games and creating fairy gardens, pretend shops etc.
Before moving to Mallorca, 3 years ago, I was a beautician and massage therapist, working from a cabin in my garden. I trained in this role as a single parent when my 4 children were young so that I could work from home and be there for them. I can provide multiple references from past clients as to my reliability and personality. I am very happy to meet up with anyone who is looking for help so that you can see if you think I will fit with your family. Over the past few months I have been helping a Mallorcan family by taking care of their 1 year old daughter. She already understands me in English which is fantastic. She will shortly be going to nursery so I will have more time available to find other families to help.
