Hi!

My name is Javi, I'm from Barcelona and I'm a polyglot. I speak Spanish, English, French, Catalan and Arabic. I've lived in six countries over the last ten years -Spain, India, Jordan, Egypt, Greece and Vietnam. I love traveling, learning new languages and teaching.

I started teaching English five years ago. Since then, I've had the opportunity to teach a wide range of students from different backgrounds - young learners, teenagers and adults from the Middle East, Africa, Europe and South East Asia.

I am a Cambridge CELTA certified ESL teacher and I'm currently enrolled in the Cambridge DELTA program. I have been working as a Head Teacher of a school with nine teachers at the biggest ESL company in Vietnam. I also run training sessions for newly hired teachers twice a month.

I believe in motivation as the main source of ESL learners' success. Thus, building rapport with my students from day 1 and getting to know your goals and understand your struggles are a crucial part of my teaching style.

Confident students who understand that making mistakes is a necessary part of the learning process achieve their language goals faster and more effectively than those who don't.

My goal is to create a safe and relaxing learning environment where students learn without even realizing it.
