I have been tutoring various subjects including mathematics, biology, English, and physical sciences. My favourite would have to be biology because I love how my students' eyes light up when they learn something new about their surroundings and the human body.

My university education in human biochemistry and human physiology also makes me an effective au pair/nanny because I know what is best for your child's development; my experience in teaching children means that I can teach them scientific concepts in ways that are easily understood by young minds.

I have also taught children with ADHD/ADD. My teaching ethos includes ensuring I understand how the student learns new concepts and topics (visually, auditorially, or kinesthetically) and tailoring our lessons according to their learning style so they can learn easily. I also implement a system of continuous assessments so that students do not feel overwhelmed by a large amount of work to study; continuous assessment also makes it easier to pinpoint a student's problem areas (content they misunderstand or content they require additional examples in order to be able to apply their knowledge).
