Lola, profesor de inglés en Madrid

Hi families,

My name is Lola and I am a 27 year old native English speaker and teacher from Australia. I have recently moved to Madrid to teach English at a Bilingual High School however I will have afternoons, nights and weekends free to provide nannying, babysitting and English tutoring services.

- 8 years sole charge nanny experience with infants and children aged from 6 weeks old to 15 years old (specialising in the 0-4 age group)
-police check, WWCC, wonderful references
-10 years babysitting experience
- Certificate 3 in Childcare Studies
- Infant CPR training/First Aid
- Cert II, III, IV and Diploma of Auslan (Sign Language to communicate with Deaf people/ Lengua de senas)
- children/baby sign language teacher of over four years (great for babies to communicate before they learn to speak!)
-studied Nutritional Medicine
-now studying Speech Pathology at university (ie Logopeda/Patólogo de habla y lenguaje ó terapeuta de habla y lenguaje)
-experience with twins, multiples, nanny share etc
-experience with weaning, baby led weaning, settling, toilet training, tantrums, fussy eaters, school readiness, both Montessori and Steiner philosophy based child care
-energetic, patient, playful, calm, creative and able to stick to routines and set boundaries where needed

-as a part of my degree I have studied linguistics and the anatomy and physiology of speech production which is useful in teaching correct English grammar, pronunciation and accent.
