Charmien, profesor particular de inglés en Madrid

My name is Charmien, and I am a licensed professional teacher. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education. At present, I am taking up Master of Arts in Education Major in English. I also have TEFL and TESOL certifications.

During the past years, I have acquired comprehensive knowledge and skills about creating and facilitating effective teaching and learning environments for all students. I have been teaching children in the classroom setting since 2014. I also teach adults online regarding various topics such as traveling, exam preparation, English for specific purposes, preparing for a job interview, using English at work, or improving fluency in speaking.

I cater learners from elementary level to learners in the advanced level who wish to further improve their communication skills. When it comes to my teaching approach, I tailor them according to the learner’s level, needs, and goals because I believe that the teacher should understand each learner and create multiple pathways for meaningful and engaging learning. But one thing is constant, I give my 100% in each class.

I like photography, traveling, and learning languages and cultures. I am currently studying Mandarin Chinese so I could say that I understand the struggles of learning a new language not only from the point of view of a teacher but also from the point of view of a learner.

Teaching for me is a vocation. It involves not only training the minds of learners but also touching their hearts and transforming their lives. I believe that by sharing my knowledge and skills, I could help learners realize their worth and potential and achieve their dreams.
