I live in Torre del Mar, and work as Auxiliar de conversacion at IES Almenara. I am a TEFL certified, native English speaker. I have worked with SEFYS, TE Madrid, and a couple of NGOs in New Delhi, India, as a teacher. I have a C1 level in Spanish.
With my current company, SEFYS, I have worked on a number of projects. I taught an 86 hour course to 10 Guardia Civil in el Pardo, Madrid in the month of June-July, 2019. Then, I worked in office, as a course creator, tutor and coordinator. I worked with a student of an online American high school, Keystone, tutoring him in subjects like Algebra, English, Contemporary issues, American Economics, World History, etc. I also worked on creating courses and coordinating with students who enrolled for SAT prep courses. I worked with programs like College Planner Pro, 7Speed Reading, ePrep and Typesy. Later, I created a one year SAT math course, using a book available on PDF.
With a great passion for languages, I am prepared to play a significant role in the running of the institution. I commit to inspire pupils in the English language, instilling a sense of self worth into the classroom, and ensuring to bring the best out of each student.
I have a Business Economics’ honors degree from the University of Delhi. I did a Spanish course at Instituto Cervantes for 3+ years. Afterwards, I came to AIL, Madrid for B2 and did online classes with STiM, Malaga. I have experience with social work, volunteering as a teacher. I also have 3 years of experience as a freelance photographer, wherein I worked with organizations like the World Book Fair, French Embassy of India, Goyal Saab, GBD books, Planet E Com Solutions, The Wedding Bonanza, etc. Later, in 2019, I did a TEFL course in Madrid. I have 12 hours of experience in TE Madrid, working with Spanish natives from A2-B2 levels. I can outline lesson plans and organize activities and classes for all age groups and levels.
